There have been many heroes during the coronavirus pandemic, healthcare workers and first responders among them who are risking their lives to help others. Some of them have contracted the virus themselves while serving and protecting the public. Kristen Ziman, the Chief of Police in Aurora, Illinois, was diagnosed with coronavirus in late March and recovered.
