"Grace Hanadarko is a tormented, fast-living Oklahoma City police detective whose philosophy to life is white-heat living. After seeing tremendous tragedy in her life, both professionally and personally, Grace lives life hard and fast. And she never slows down, even in the midst of a race-against-the-clock search for a young girl who has been abducted. It all catches up with Grace one night when, as she’s driving too fast after too many drinks, she hits a man who is walking along the road. In an uncharacteristic moment, Grace asks for help, and she gets it – in the form an unconventional angel named Earl, who tells her that she is in trouble and running out of chances, but he wants to help lead her back to the right path. The journey, for both of them, will not be an easy one."

Bring It On, Earl
"The detectives investigate the murder of an oilman who may have been the victim of anti-oil activists, or he may have been murdered by someone a little closer to home. Lt. Yukon’s brother, who is constantly in trouble, is brought in as an informant on the case, dredging up old wounds. Meanwhile, after continued visits from Earl, Grace tries to prove her strength by challenging him to a wrestling match. Her relationship with Ham becomes strained after he finds out about her past relationship with Butch. Ham is also being forced to spend the night elsewhere after his wife begins to suspect his affair with Grace."
