Being a flight nurse isn't an easy job, but that's exactly why Mindy Lynch does it. "For me, it's not just medically taking care of somebody," she says. "It's compassion and building that trust and comforting them at a time that's probably the worst day of their life." 

Lynch began her job as a nurse at the age of 20, in the emergency room. The first time she saw a flight team with a patient, she knew that was the path she wanted her career to eventually take. Though her first interview with Flight For Life didn't go as well as planned, she got another chance and blew her interviewers away.
